I'm going into space (and then dying, but let's not talk about that part)!!!Maybe it's just because I'm reading Kraken right now, but this story is really interesting. Baby squids that look like Super Mario Bloopers are joining the Endeavour team up in space to test how microbes react to microgravity (the Bobtail squid isn't a microbe, but it has BFF bacteria that it has a symbiotic relationship with).
I wish you would see more news coverage from the big media sources about this stuff. Without informing the public and getting them interested, we have less and less kids interested in science. Science is cool, kids! Pick up a test tube today!
